Dr Phoebe Ng graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelors of Dental Surgery. Upon graduation, she worked at various government institutions such as School Dental Services (Health Promotion Board), Tan Tock Seng Hospital, National Dental Centre and National Healthcare Group polyclinics. This gave her a wide range of experience in treating a variety of patients (from pre-school toddlers to adults, and even geriatric patients) with many different conditions, training her to provide comprehensive treatment planning for patients of all ages.
Dr Ng believes in preventive dentistry and hopes to equip patients with the power to take charge of their oral health through education and individualised treatment planning. She believes that there is no one-size-fits-all approach, but that each patient should be individually assessed for what works best in their situation. Dr Ng, whose own mother was a dental nurse, understands the anxiety that dental treatment may cause for patients, and emphasises personal care for each patient to create a good experience for the patient.
Dr Ng aims to help her patients maintain and restore their dentition for optimal function, ensuring they have a smile that brings them confidence.
In her spare time, Dr Ng has joined dental mission trips aiding in the provision of dental care and education to students in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. She has also volunteered at Healthserve, providing dental services for migrant workers. Outside of dentistry, Dr Ng enjoys reading, baking and keeping active with sports and hikes.
